Collecting Duty Free
Duty Free Need To Know
Jewellery By Frederick offer a duty free service whereby you can remove the 15% GST component of your purchase by collecting your jewellery from an international departure lounge prior to any international flight departing New Zealand. In sharing your flight details with us, we also require confirmation of your first and last name as shown on your passport so that we can ensure the name on your invoice matches.
Leaving New Zealand
Legally, the person who purchased the goods must also be the one to collect them at the Collection Point. To collect your item(s) you will need your passport and a printed or digital copy of your invoice. This will be emailed to you upon completion of your ring. If you are flying from Auckland Airport you will also need to present a collection authorisation with a unique barcode - you will receive this via email directly from Auckland Airport at least 24 hours prior to your departure, if not before. If you are using our finance option, you will notice that your invoice will show an outstanding balance and you will be asked to honour the agreement with a signature upon collection.

Duty Free Information
Other countries have different customs tax and excise rules and it is the designated collector’s responsibility to correctly complete the relevant declaration upon entry into another country. Please do your research in advance so you are prepared for any additional charges that may apply when entering another country. If a client is charged duty and/or tax for any reason, Naveya & Sloane accepts no responsibility for this.
Other Important Information
When you are ready to book your flights, we ask that you email through your flight details so we can ensure the parcel is there for you to collect on the day. Do keep in mind that once the item has been collected at the Collection Point, the jewellery will be under your care. We recommend arranging travel insurance cover prior to your flight out of the country. Please contact your preferred insurance provider for more information. Please refer to the map attached to help you locate the Collection Point at the airport you are departing from.
